We Sleep Outside

from Mostly A Safe Place by Rattlemouth

/

lyrics

I live outside in a cardboard box
underneath in the shade of a rickety worm farm
Put there by the big one I run away from
but usually not so far
Food can be found close by to the place where
the big one comes in and out of
and clean water to is sometimes there though
the opossum often makes it dirty
I must share with friend and stranger
and sometimes I am chased away
I do get cold I do get hot
I do get eaten by flea and mosquito
Mostly a safe place is what I want
A safe place is mostly what I want
